Medium red. High-toned aromas of redcurrant and oak, with a whiff of varnish. Supple and rather high-pitched, with good life to the spicy, floral red fruit flavors. The cooler side of 2005: not particularly fleshy but shows good lift and length. Finishes with firm, slightly dry tannins.
