Good ruby-red color. Riper aromas of raspberry, coffee, minerals and sweet oak. Tangy, spicy fruit offers good sweetness but moderate flesh. Nicely subtle, fruit-driven and fresh on the back end. I like this style.

Quite oaky nose, but awfully good fruit. Very rich and exciting. Long and confident. Well worth the extra £50 over the Nuits St Georges (JR)
