Note di degustazione
Moderate peppery nose. Quite rustic - back to classic claret. Very tannic with spicy black fruits. Coats the mouth. This is very impressive - definitely the best Caronne I've tasted. May 2004: Definitely a step up. The nose is not as intense as the 2000. Quite earthy. The palate is better: well-balanced with raspberry and a touch of black pepper and burnt toast. Good density with a simple, corpulent finish. Still easy-drinking but a higher quality wine. (No tasting note was provided in Issue 128. We have instead included the text of the tasting note from the 2000 Neal Martin’s Wine Journal)
