Mid-crimson with a weak rim. Sweet start and then lively attack but rather too pronounced acidity and tannin to convince me it'll all come right in the end. (JR)

Moderately saturated medium ruby. Rather syrah-like aromas of raw red fruits and exotic brown spices. Sweet, gentle and exotic; an essentially easygoing, pliant wine with moderate intensity and concentration. A bit grapey on the back end, but the tannins are reasonably sweet.
