Dark, bright ruby. Blackberry, black cherry, licorice and bitter chocolate on the rather floral nose; slightly porty but fresh. Dense and thick but currently a bit clenched, and dominated by its structure. Lively black fruit, violet and bitter chocolate flavors linger on the firmly tannic finish.
