Note di degustazione
The 1993 Château de Fieuzal Blanc is fully mature and musty on the nose, lacking fruit and freshness. Likewise, I find the palate slightly oxidized, as expected after 31 years. All wines have a shelf life. This was past its own.

The rich, powerful 1993 offers authoritative flavors presented in a full-bodied style that is crammed with honeyed, waxy, melony fruit and spicy new oak. The wine possesses a chewy, thick texture, and a long, crisp finish. Fieuzal's white wines are made of 50% Semillon and 50% Sauvignon Blanc and are vinified and aged in 100% new oak. This offering should last for at least 10-15 years. Last tasted 1/97
Fieuzal has been making sensational white Graves since their white winemaking renaissance began in 1985. The 1985 Fieuzal remains one of the most sensational white wines this property has yet made. It was followed by terrific efforts in 1988 and 1989, and very strong offerings in both 1992 and 1993. Dec 1994, www.robertparker.com
