Mid ruby red. Meaty, substantial nose. Quite powerfully aromatic. Lots going on here. Many different floral scents and some raciness. Very dry finish. Lots of energy. Full of life! (JR)

Medium red. Pure red berries, licorice and a whiff of iron on the nose. Suave in texture, with very good but not outstanding depth of flavor. But the wine's harmonious acids carry the fruit, giving the finish a sneaky persistence.
