Note di degustazione
Rather burnt, tarry note on the nose. Sweet and raw and nowhere near integrated yet. Competent but not exciting with a bit of a hole in the middle. (JR)

4ème Cru Classé Pale crimson. Attractive classic Margaux scent. Good harmonious stuff though quite marked acidity and dry tannins. Chewy end still and is there quite enough fruit weight to carry them? I’d drink while still relatively young. (JR)
This is a rather insubstantial, superficial effort with light body, moderately endowed red currant and cherry fruit, and some oak, damp earth, and herbs in the background. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
Deep crimson. Low-key nose, but very charming, ripe fruit on the front of the palate, which does well at disguising a slight lack of ripeness. Savoury. Good balance and length. (JR)

This Fourth Growth estate has been owned by the same family (the Sénéclauzes) since 1936. Over the last 25 years, later picking, a higher level of sorting and modern winemaking has fine-tuned the quality.
