1999 Gevrey Chambertin Ostrea

Medium-deep red. Subtle, complex aromas of dark berries, violet and licorice. Denser, sweeter and more serious than the Gevrey normale; there's more material and structure here, as well as a more pronounced mineral character. Finishes with broad, chewy tannins.
