Black. Quite aromatic though, with a hint of over-the-top raisins. Lively palate with real punch. User-friendly without being over the top although perhaps not for ultra-traditionalists. (JR)

Deep, full ruby. Porty aromas of black cherry and licorice. Deep, sappy flavors of maraschino cherry and kirsch Concentrated but a bit clenched today, finishing with big, chewy tannins.
