Denis Durantou has been the consultant since 2004 and is very pleased with the 2006 results. Very scented and velvety. Round and fluid and complete. Some floral notes. The tannins well managed. The fruit almost manages to disguise the pretty hefty structure of this wine but I think it will eventually be a fine glass of wine. Silky texture just very slightly green fruit.

(a 90/10 blend of merlot and cabernet franc, from gravelly soil) Red-ruby. Aromatic nose offers cherry, coffee, tobacco, meat and leather. Supple and easygoing, with noteworthy middle-palate sweetness and flavors of black cherry and licorice. This has plenty of personality, as well as the mid-palate texture to support its building tannins.
