Note di degustazione
The 1997 is evolved, with low acidity, as well as intense black cherry and cassis fruit intertwined with smoky, toasty new oak scents. Fleshy and forward, with medium body and rich fruitiness, it should drink well for 10-12 years. (No tasting note was provided in Issue 128. We have instead included the text of the tasting note from Issue 122)

Informazioni sul produttore

Wine has been made at this estate since the 1300s, but its modern history begins when the Lurton family purchased it in 1965. The property was in disrepair, but the Lurtons have restored the château, winery and vineyards.
