Light ruby. Pale rim. Light, sweetish tea-leaf aromas. Easy peasy but awfully light and unambitious. (JR)

This well-known property has produced a solidly structured, feminine style of wine with hints of rose petals intermixed with red cherries and slightly blacker currants. It is a mid-weight wine with good body, decent acidity and relatively sweet tannin. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. A member of the Alliance des Cru Bourgeois du Medoc.
40% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Dark crimson. Sweet and scented. A charmer even if not the most sophisticated. Very savoury, meaty finish and not that much intensity or ambition. Very soft. (JR)
This wine shows coffee bean and berry character, chewy tannins and a medium finish. James Suckling, jamessuckling.com
