Note di degustazione
This beautiful Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru has a subtle nose of bergamot and orange zest with notes of wild herbs. Excellent tension on the generous but focused palate, driving the very long, structured finish, which has a serious stony minerality. From a high-altitude site that may well become better known due to climate change. Drink or hold.

The wine shows a medium-intensity lemon-yellow color. The nose offers freshness, tension, and a subtle tangy edge. It reveals notes of green apple flesh, ripe yellow lemon, crisp apricot, and fresh pineapple. After aeration, aromas of juicy peach, fresh flowers (white lily, acacia, linden, chamomile), underlying hay, honey, as well as a herbal touch of crushed peppermint and fresh quince bring freshness and originality. The woody and toasted notes are delicate and well integrated – the wine notably expresses hints of fresh hazelnut, roasted hazelnut in the background, vanilla, and brown butter. The palate is fragrant, precise, and complex. On the attack, it shows perceptible yet not exuberant oak tones (toasted wood, fresh wood, toasted hazelnut), vanilla, crushed cardamom, and brown butter. Then come the indulgent stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot, yellow plum) and candied citrus (lemon peel and candied orange, a hint of grapefruit marmalade), combined with floral notes of acacia and apple blossom, along with a touch of linden honey and hay. The finish is fragrant, long, slightly bitter, and fresh, thanks to mouthwatering acidity and tangy notes of green apple and fresh quince that appear at the very end.
Delicate and precise, the nose offers wild yellow citrus pith, chamomile, wild flowers, and fresh almond so refined it borders on the perfumed. The palate is harmonious, with balanced texture and bright acidity. This wine is showing beautifully now.
