Note di degustazione
The 2015 Bourgogne from Domaine Claude Dugat is lovely, bursting from the glass with a charming bouquet of ripe cherries, violets and a subtle framing of recently used oak. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, supple and satiny, with fine, almost melting tannins, tangy acids and a generous core of ripe, mouthwateringly crunchy fruit. One of the best renditions of this cuvée I've tasted, the 2015 will enjoy a broad drinking window.

Rich, intense nose with a hint of mousiness. Very tough on the end. Far from charming. (JR)
Bright, dark red. Reduced aromas and flavors of red cherry and spices. Dense and pliant for Bourgogne, offering lovely fruit richness. Bertrand Dugat compared this wine to the 2009 version, noting that the '15 has better balance and inner-mouth tension. An excellent Bourgogne in the making.
Mild reduction suppresses the underlying fruit for the moment but there is good freshness, verve and concentration to the utterly delicious yet entirely serious middle weight flavors that are blessed with good mid-palate fat as well as excellent depth and length for the genre. This is highly recommended for value.
