Sporting a deep ruby/purple hue, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is a big, powerful expression of Cabernet with ripe blue fruits, plum, chocolate, and scorched earth-like aromatics. Based on 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Cabernet Franc and aged 21 months in 67% new French oak, it's full-bodied, deep, and opulently textured with ripe, sweet tannins, moderate acidity, and a blockbuster finish. Scents of crushed stone and ripe cherries meet hints of caramel on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is supple and softly tannic, with tremendous length on the finish.
