Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the A2b block (replanted in 2017) and aged 22 months in new French oak, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard reveals quintessential To Kalon notes of red, blue, and black fruits intermixed with sweet tobacco, flowery incense, and spicy nuances. It's ripe, full-bodied, has a voluptuous, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a gorgeous finish. Give bottles just 2-3 years and enjoy over the following two decades or so. There are roughly 200 cases produced. Drink 2027-2053.
