Punteggio 16.5/20 · Da bere 2024-2032, Jancis Robinson MW, Feb 2025

Grapes sourced from a number of sites in Marlborough’s Southern Valleys. Predominantly Dijon clones 115, 777 and 667, with smaller parcels of UCD5, 828, 943 and AM10/5. Mostly destemmed, some whole bunch, ambient-yeast ferment, matured in French barriques, 30% new. From a cooler vintage than the 2021 tasted alongside, this is tightly structured, quite lean and focused; an elegant, ageworthy expression of Marlborough Pinot. (MA)

Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2024-2030, Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate, Feb 2025

The 2022 Pinot Noir is light and fragrant, with woodsmoke and exotic spice, cherrywood and cocoa. In the mouth, the wine is delicate, and the tannins hold shape while the fruit flows between the folds. This is pretty. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2026-2033, Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous

The medium-bodied and well-concentrated 2022 Pinot Noir lends a savory edge to Marlborough's rich fruit. There's depth and roundness on the mid-palate thanks to the richer soils of Marlborough's Southern Valleys. A bright, acidic freshness frames the 2022 as satisfying tannins lightly coat the palate. The oak is still a little prominent on the nose and the front palate, but it should integrate more fully in the coming two to three years.
