2015 Weissburgunder "S" Trocken

The 2015 Weissburgunder S was sourced from Bad Kreuznach (Hinkelstein) and Oberhausen (Felsenberg) and fermented in new Stück vats (1200-liter vats). It opens with a clear, fresh and aromatic bouquet of white fruits along with some fresh and really nice oak flavors. Made from top grapes, this is a full-bodied, intense and elegant Pinot Blanc with grip, tension and just a slight touch of oak. No malolactic fermentation was done here. It is a very elegant and vitalizing Pinot Blanc with a bit of Puligny or Meursault character.
