The 2020 Riesling Kabinett Trocken CAI is a beautifully clear, ripe, lush and charming dry Mosel Kabinett that opens with a delicate and coolish, fresh, precise and slate-driven bouquet of ripe fruits, such as apples, apricots and small yellow plums, intertwined with this incredibly delicate flinty tone. Light and perfectly round on palate, this is a juicy, refined and very elegant picture-book Kabinett from this Kabinett vintage. The wine finishes intense and minerally fresh, with well-defined acidity. 11% alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in September 2021.
