The 2022 Serra Pedace wafts up with dusty violet and lavender tones, cooling inflections of crushed stone and wild blackberries. It is surprisingly lifted in feel, still concentrated and complex, yet seems to dance across the palate as crisp black fruits and mineral tones mingle under an air of inner florals. The 2022 shuts down hard through the finish, demanding cellaring as hints of licorice and nuances of liquid chalk resonate.

The 2022 Serra Pedace Vineyard is a thick, rich, full-bodied 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with a still-mountainous profile of dense tannin and concentrated black fruit dipped in dark chocolate. Broodingly dense, its powerful frame will continue to develop with patience. Cellar through 2042, if not longer.
This deliciously bright and fragrant red shows cassis, blue plums, cedar, sweet spices and boysenberries on the nose.
