The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard from Stone the Crows and winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown is superb. Pliant, exotic and beautifully perfumed, the 2021 races across the palate, offering gorgeous hints of kirsch, rose petal, cinnamon and sweet barrel toast. In this vintage, the Cabernet Sauvignon is a bit restrained and also surprisingly closed. I would give it year or two in bottle.

Coming from the Three Twins Vineyard and older vines, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a more concentrated, black-fruited, iron-laced, almost masculine-styled Cabernet that has the medium to full-bodied, structured style of the vintage. The balance is spot on, but this is still going to warrant some bottle age.
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most impressive wines yet from this estate. This is an especially structured, dense wine. There is less sensuality than in some vintages, and quite a bit of both tannin and overall structure. Low yields in this vintage produced a dark, inky Cabernet with tons of dark fruit and huge tannins. Superb. Stone the Crows remains one of the most under the radar properties in Napa Valley.
