Note di degustazione
Lots of grape and blueberry-skin aromas with blackcurrants and licorice. Full body, round and juicy tannins and a flavorful finish. Needs two or three years to soften. Better in 2020. Screw cap.

Plumpjack's Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is fabulous. Super-ripe red cherry, plum, lavender, spice and menthol are all beautifully knit together in this lush, voluptuous Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Aaron Miller has done a tremendous job retaining a good bit of freshness here. Rich, sensual and enveloping, the 2015 is an absolutely stellar wine in this vintage. Don't miss it. This is a superb example of the year at its best.
A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and the rest Malbec brought up in 80% new French oak, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate tastes like a mini-reserve with its vibrant, fresh, clean personality. Blueberries, cassis, vanilla bean and spring flower notes all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, silky, incredibly elegant 2015 that has integrated acidity, a supple, charming style, and sweet tannin. It’s ready to go but will keep for 15+ years.
Composed of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate gives a deep garnet-purple color and fragrant nose of crushed black cherries and blueberries with suggestions of violets, dark chocolate and cinnamon stick plus a waft of cigar box. The voluptuous, full-bodied palate layers on the fruit and spice flavors, framed by plush tannins and culminating in a very long, fruit-driven finish. Decadent stuff!
