The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is based on 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petite Sirah, the rest Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc that was brought up in mostly neutral oak. It's beautifully balanced, medium-bodied, and juicy, with lively red and black fruits, some spice, tobacco, and graphite nuances, fine tannins, and a great finish. Drink bottles through 2031. These Edge releases come from Ray Signorello, with the wines made by Celia Welch. They represent terrific values.

Produced by the team at Signorello, Edge's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the same Alexander Valley vineyard as it has every vintage since 2005. It reveals some slightly grassy, alfalfa-like notes on the nose, alongside plum and black cherry fruit and a hint of mocha. The wine is medium to full-bodied and gently tannic, with enough assertive flavor and soft, dusty astringency on the finish to think it would partner well with any grilled red meat.
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, racy wine. A burst of super-ripe red cherry fruit, plum, mocha, licorice and sweet oak is amplified in this extroverted Cabernet Sauvignon from Edge proprietor Ray Signorello. There's a good deal of Alexander Valley earthy/savory complexity to play off of the wine's natural exuberance. It's a gorgeous wine for the money.
