Note di degustazione
A fragrant nose of green apples, stone fruits, cooked lemons, fresh leaves and hints of white pepper. Medium body with bright acidity. Such freshness and precision on the palate with a touch of juicy green apples and a crisp core of acidity and minerality, bringing harmony, balance and vitality. Focused long saline finish. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Condrieu Les Vieilles Vignes De Jacques Verney is more racy and vibrant but is every bit as concentrated. Tart apricots, quince, honeyed minerality, and sappy herb and floral notes all make an appearance, and it's medium-bodied, deep, layered, and incredibly chiseled and focused on the palate. It needs a year or two, but this is utterly profound Condrieu.
Fantastic and expressive nose with a salty marine-air note, spice and white flowers. A gorgeous palate with such tension and acidity. Mouth-watering freshness. The fruit is delicate and restrained – apricot – and a broad, but super-concentrated, palate. The acidity is superb, detailed, and the finish is extremely long. One of the finest Condrieus I have tasted and certainly wine of the vintage. (AC)
