Note di degustazione
The 2023 Pinot Noir Fog Dance is another excellent wine in this range. Medium-bodied and rounded around the edges, the 2023 has a real sense of textural intrigue, coating the cheeks with blood orange, white pepper, cured olive and rosewater before receding into itself. Tightly wound today, the Fog Dance needs time.

Matured for 14 months in 23% new French oak, the 2023 Pinot Noir Fog Dance Vineyard is bursting with aromas of rhubarb, black cherry, blood orange, graham cracker and dried herbs. The medium-bodied palate features layered, earth-laced flavors. It’s balanced by vibrant acidity and has a long, perfumed finish. 316 cases were made.
Aromas of chalk, bergamot, bright red fruit, hibiscus and subtle anise. Medium-bodied, the exuberant, juicy and succulent palate is very refreshing. Drink or hold.
The 2023 Pinot Noir Fog Dance is also coming from the Green Valley of the Russian River and pours a more jeweled ruby hue. The nose is more layered and enveloping, with notes of wild raspberries, cherries, fresh sage, violet perfume, and orange citrus, while the palate has more tension and well-defined structure, with ripe tannins, zesty, ripe acidity, and long persistence on the finish. It’s built for the long haul but has a lot to offer now. Drink 2026-2050.
