1963 Charles Krug Cabernet Sauvignon

This, like the 1965 enjoyed in February, had apparently been bought reasonably recently from Reid Wines. This 1963 was a little more fragile on the nose than the 1965. Old and velvety but with some iron notes on the end. On the palate it is still admirably round and sweet. Bravo! (JR)
