The 2016 Hunawihr Gewurztraminer Clos Windsbuhl is flinty, clear and fresh on the coolish and concentrated nose. On the palate, this is a dense, medium sweet and well-concentrated Gewurtz with fine salinity and a tight, tensioned finish. This is a promising wine, firm and sensual, and it should be singing in a couple of years.
