Note di degustazione
The grapefruit, rock salt, and gooseberry-scented 1999 Sancerre is reminiscent of a good New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Medium-bodied, plump, and candied, it is filled with lush gooseberries and citrus fruits. It does not have the concentration and length one expects from Vacheron in a good vintage, yet is a considerable success for a 1999. Drink it over the next year. Informazioni sul produttore

Certified biodynamic, Domaine Vacheron is one of the star names in Sancerre. The estate crafts Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from single sites, using low yields and Burgundy-inspired winemaking to produce exceptionally pure, age-worthy expressions of the region that are some of its best.
