2004 Lucia Syrah Susan's Hill

The 2004 Syrah Susan’s Hill was fashioned from the Estrella and 877 clones (the former is from one of Chapoutier’s Hermitage vineyards). Its partial whole berry fermentation (35%) has resulted in a wine with gorgeous sweetness and expansiveness, a terrific, multilayered texture, wonderful floral, blackberry, and blueberry aromas, full-bodied opulence, and beautiful ripeness as well as purity.
