Note di degustazione
The 2020 Anjou Blanc Veau hails from the western side of the Quarts de Chaume hill on pure schist, giving a fiery spice. It’s intensely concentrated, ripe and creamy, with a richness of texture reminiscent of a sweet white. The 2020 is a little oxidative, displaying pastry notes from extended time on lees. There's grip and tension on the finish, holding you tight. Still, the alcohol is on the high side.

Horribly heavy bottle. Not sure what all the fuss is about concerning this cult producer … Middle of the road. Slightly bitter finish. (JR)
