The 2022 Arbois Trousseau Cuvée des Geologues Marne Rouge comes from Trias soils with marl and limestone, from the Poussot vineyard, where they make two wines in years with good yields, like 2022. This is quite earthy, with some iron-like notes, coming from a warm and ripe year, with abundant tannins, a medium-bodied palate and a dry, long, clean and serious finish.

The promising 2022 Trousseau Arbois Cuvée des Géologues Marne Rouge has already shut down. Time in the glass gradually brings out spicy aspects, ripe red fruits and dried flowers. Checking in at 14% alcohol, this is a serious Marne Rouge built for the long haul. Concentrated and focused, give it at least three more years in bottle.
