Note di degustazione
Based on 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre and aged 12 months in 50-hectoliter foudre, the 2023 Gigondas Vieilles Vignes offers darker berries, pepper, sappy garrigue, and smoked meat-like aromatics. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, fine, polished tannins, and nicely integrated acidity. It's a gorgeous, clean, complex, layered Gigondas that should drink well over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2041.

Just-ripe black fruits, subtle cedar, licorice and dried herbs announce the 2023 Gigondas Vieilles Vignes. Full-bodied, round and refreshing, the 2023 captures spot-on balance and ends quite long. This classic Vieilles Vignes won’t need much time to come around.
Notes of spices, licorice and dark berries preface the 2023 Gigondas Classique Vieilles Vignes, a medium- to full-bodied, dense and structured wine with an assertive tannic frame and a long, spicy finish. Despite its introverted character, it remains a well-executed effort.
The spicy 2023 Gigondas Vieilles Vignes unwinds with garrigue , dried herbs, licorice and ripe black fruits. Softly structured and well-balanced, the 2023 bundles vivid freshness through bright acidity and a fruit-driven finish.
