2010 Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

The only Cabernet Sauvignon I saw was the 2010 Napa bottling. Sweet black currant fruit, graphite, background oak and earth are present in this medium-bodied, elegant, stylish Cabernet Sauvignon. It should drink well for 7-8 years. The iconic flagship wine that began Duckhorn’s success in 1978 is the Merlot Three Palms Vineyard, one of the first single vineyard Merlots produced, and no doubt an inspiration for the Merlot boom in the 1980s.
