Deep in colour, this has an exotic nose with a little assam tea, tobacco and toasted fennel seed complementing a richness of dark cherry and plum fruit, with a sweet, plump strawberry edge. On the palate this is quite dark and savoury, intense with a raw power. The tannins are glossy, ripe and smooth, yet with a firmness, framing the depths of rich bramble fruit.

Full-bodied, rich, deep and sensuous, here you find all the truffles, chocolate, flowers and silky, dark pit fruits you can ask for. On the palate, layer after layer of chocolate-coated black plums and cherries with a touch of spice and wet earth start off strong and end up even stronger, due to its freshness, length and sensuality. Drink it young, for its fresh, lush fruits, or age it for more truffles, flowers and other secondary nuances. Drink from 2025-2050.
One of the best kept secrets in Pomerol is the quality of the wines from Jeremy Chasseuil's tiny estate located between Trotanoy and Latour à Pomerol, just across the street from the Clinet sector. Coming from a 6.32-hectare parcel and a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2020 Château Feytit-Clinet sports a dense purple hue to go with blockbuster aromatics of ripe black cherries, cassis, chocolaty oak, leafy herbs, and damp earth. Full-bodied and concentrated, with remarkable purity and ultra-fine tannins, this utterly brilliant Pomerol will benefit from 4-6 years of bottle age and will evolve for 20-25 years or more if well-stored.
The 2020 Feytit-Clinet has a vibrant, expressive, beautifully-defined bouquet with wonderful tension considering the growing season. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, very fine acidity, blackberry and boysenberry fruit with white pepper and thyme towards the finish. Impressive length and class, this is a superb Pomerol.

Jeremy Chasseuil took back control of his family estate in 2000. Prior to this the vines and wine were managed by the Moueix group (owners of Château La Fleur-Pétrus, Château Hossana and Château Trotanoy).
