Deep ruby/purple, with a moderately intense bouquet of cedar, plums, and currants, the 1988 Lascombes is a spicy, robustly-styled Margaux. Medium to full-bodied and well-balanced, it is not as excessively tannic as many 1988 Medocs tend to be. Anticipated maturity: 1994-2002.
