2017 Klinker Brick Winery Zinfandel Old Ghost Old Vine

Full bottle 1,773 g. A bottle this weight is so obscene that I wonder if we, as wine lovers, should start a boycott. There is no wine on earth that can justify glass weights like this. And this wine is nothing special, to add insult to injury. It's Lodi, it's Zin, it's decent, but if I were an importer I'd tell them in no uncertain terms that if they want to sell their wines in this country, they need to start respecting the future of the next generation. I'm deliberately not giving it a score. The environmental impact of this bottle is so high it renders it morally undrinkable. (TC)
