Note di degustazione
Containing a 1% dollop of Petit Verdot, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon LPF leads with a blocky, stunted nose of black fruits and subtle herbal tinges. As is consistent with this producer, the texture is plush and seductive but transitions immediately into a simple, flat-footed finish of hollow fruits and oak treatment.

Ripe, sweet blackberries, cassis, asphalt, olives and a hint of osmanthus honey to the nose. Silky and juicy on the palate with taut and polished tannins creating a seamlessly knit texture to the palate. Very long and linear with a refined finish. Drink now or hold.
The 2018 LPF is close to all Cabernet Sauvignon yet includes 1% Petit Verdot, all brought up in a mix of new and once-used barrels. Currants, cassis, spicy wood, tobacco, and incense notes all define the bouquet, and it brings a touch more mid-palate opulence and ripeness, with quality tannins and a good finish. It's another impressive, focused, nicely balanced Cabernet Sauvignon from this team.
Glass-staining ruby. Spice-accented aromas of fresh black and blue fruits, tobacco and cola are complemented by a floral topnote. Juicy, focused and appealingly sweet, offering concentrated blackcurrant, cherry-vanilla and baking spice flavors that are underscored by a smoky mineral quality. At once rich and lively, closing long and precise, with solid dark fruit thrust, discreet tannins and lingering florality.
