Lively fruit with hints of fresh herbs, stems. Full-bodied, with super fine tannins and a berry, dark chocolate and fruity finish. Tangy and lively. Best in 2013.

The 2009 Pinot Noir Carrie's is the most overt wine among these Pinots. It shows plenty of intensity, inner palate richness and body. It is also the only Pinot where the alcohol is just a bit noticeable.
The 2009 Pinot Noir Carrie’s is the most overt wine among these Pinots. It shows plenty of intensity, inner palate richness and body. The estate makes a wide range of wines under the direction of oenologist Greg Brewer, and also sells fruit to a number of other producers. The 2009 Pinot Noirs in particular are standouts. Brewer vinified the Pinots with one-third whole clusters. The 2010 Chardonnays had only recently been bottled and needed quite a bit of air to blow off some of their reductive qualities. Tel.
