Note di degustazione
The pale pink 2016 Nahe Spätburgunder Rosé Feinherb displays a fresh and delicate bouquet of red berries and very fine earthy aromas. On the palate, this is a light but beautifully round and fruity Rosé with a hidden touch of sweetness. Crushed stones and Riesling-like finesse and elegance poise any sweet sensations. This 2016 drinks perfectly today, solo or with food, and in any given season. Just drink it young to get all its charm and fruit freshness.

This off-dry rosé hails from the once-celebrated and traditionally Pinot Noir-friendly Roxheimer Höllenpfad along with the Niederhäuser Rosenheck. There is a slightly awkward juxtaposition here of tart albeit invigoratingly tangy and juicy rhubarb and tomato with a faintly milky suggestion of malolactic transformation. The bit of sweetness hasn’t knitted things together, but there is nonetheless excellent sheer length incorporating some intriguing underlying earthiness.
