2020 Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

The first fire mostly blew to the east. They apparently picked some grapes the day before the second, Glass fire which started on 27 Sep and sold off about a third of the fruit that was picked after 27 Sep. They sent samples to labs and did microferments to check for smoke taint. Bright red colour and sweet and a bit simple. Very juicy and fun. Hint of strawberry. Very round and accessible. Slightly astringent finish. Simpler and lighter than the 2018 and 2019. (JR)
