1990 Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru

The 1990 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a strange nose with a strong lavender scent that makes way for an aroma I can only describe as "dishwater". The palate is much better, relatively fresh with red berry fruit, a little hard and perhaps fading on the finish. I wonder if that nose is representative. Even so, I wager not a great 1990.
