Dark bright-rimmed red. A suave, expansive bouquet evokes ripe boysenberry, raspberry liqueur, licorice and exotic spices, and a sexy potpourri nuance builds in the glass. Shows a deft blend of richness and finesse on the palate, offering sweet red and blue fruit, lavender pastille and spicecake flavors that are given spine by a core of juicy acidity. Unfolds very slowly on the youthfully tannic finish, which hangs on with outstanding, floral-dominated tenacity.
