Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jun 2018

Offering up notes of black cherries, cassis, pencil lead and loamy soil, the 2015 Apogee Pepper Bridge Vineyard is medium to full-bodied, supple and concentrated, balanced by juicy acids. While it's also somewhat firm and chewy on the finish, it's comparatively open-knit and giving, and I'm more confident that it will reward a few years' patience with an outstanding showing. This site in the Walla Walla has a good track record for producing age-worthy but giving wines.

Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2018-2030, Jeb Dunnuck, Apr 2018

The 2015 Apogee Pepper Bridge Vineyard has the most Cabernet Sauvignon of the three top releases and is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Malbec, and 5% Cab Franc. Aged 22 months in 40% new oak, it offers loads of blackcurrants, scorched earth, chocolate, and graphite aromatics, full-bodied richness, a silky, layered texture, and beautiful purity of fruit. It's a big, rich, yet impeccably balanced red. Winemakers Marty Clubb and Mike Sharon are behind this impeccably run estate, which is one of the few in Washington that sees good distribution in the United States. Their entry-level wines are always impeccably made and great values, and their top tier releases can compete with the best of Washington State.
