Deep garnet in color, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon RBS To Kalon Vineyard possesses a wonderfully earthy nose with notions of dusty soil, garrigue, tree bark and truffles over a core of Black Forest cake, blueberry pie and chocolate mint with a touch of wood smoke. Full-bodied, decadently fruited and open for business, it has a lovely plushness to the frame and plenty of zippy acid, finishing long and minty.
