2019 Alzinger Riesling Hohereck Smaragd

The 2019 Ried Höhereck Dürnstein Riesling Smaragd is bright, clear and intense on the well-concentrated but less aromatic nose compared to other Rieslings from Leo Alzinger. Juicy, piquant and precise on the palate, this is a full-bodied, dense, rich and slightly (positively) bitter Riesling with vibrantly vital acidity and lots of tension. For now, one for the most exciting Rieslings from Leo Alzinger. 13% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in June 2021.
