Note di degustazione
Dried fruit, musty, dank aromas – not in a tainted way, but certainly shows its age. The fruit stays intact on the palate with dried cherry and bramble jam, plus chocolate, seared beef and pepper spice. I’d be tempted to enjoy this soon. (RH)

Overripe strawberry and liquorice with a bit of varnish and milk chocolate. Subtle, evolved and lengthy with a lovely meaty character on the finish. Substantial and warm to finish. (RH)
Mid ruby. Lots of development on the nose – almost funky. I don’t think Australians would like this! Brett lives. And it’s a bit hard on the end. (JR)
Informazioni sul produttore

This Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate is one of the Rhône’s most famous addresses. With a history stretching back to the 16th century, Beaucastel remains family owned and run, with the fifth generation of the Perrin family – Marc, Pierre, Thomas, Cécile, Charles, Matthieu and César – at the helm today.
