2004 Tikal Patriota

(malbec and bonarda) Deep red-ruby. Primary, grapey nose hints at medicinal black cherry and licorice, with an exotic suggestion of marmalade. Sweet, fat, round and smooth, but currently showing only moderate complexity. This relies as much on its rather firm acidity as its soft tannins for shape and structure.
