The 2020 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese feinherb "Ur-alte Reben" is clear and finely flinty on the bright yet intense and concentrated yet pure and iodine nose that offers mango and other tropical fruit aromas. Lush and elegant on the palate, this is a very intense but pure, fine and grippy, iodine but also lush and delicate Spätlese from vines planted in 1900. The finish is intense, fleshy and seriously structured. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.

Very complex nose that’s a deep well of exotic-fruit and floral aromas, yet remains so refined. Stunning delicacy and precision on the palate. Very straight and pure, but with wonderful succulence at the very long finish. Drink or hold.
