Note di degustazione
The 1966 Brane-Cantenac was picked September 21 to October 6. It has a fine, quite detailed bouquet with almost Burgundy-like, vigorous red fruit, pressed flower and cedar aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, and very classic and reserved in style; not austere, but it could do with more weight toward the attenuated but elegant finish. Not a bad Margaux considering its age. It is a very pretty Brane-Cantenac, although I would drink bottles sooner rather than later. Tasted at the Brane-Cantenac vertical at the château .

Informazioni sul produttore

Château Brane-Cantenac has been a consistent performer in the Margaux wine appellation since Henri Lurton took over the property, but thanks to replanting and investment in the last decade, quality has seen another sharp upswing.
